KPU has set up a close academic-industrial cooperation network with over 3,200 ¡®partner companies¡¯ (as of Jan., 2009). It is an unparalleled program aiming not only to help technology exchanges and joint research between KPU and its partner companies effectively, but also to maintain systematic collaborative relations through on-site education and common use of experimental equipment.
All research facilities and advanced high-tech equipment in the university are fully accessible to partner companies 24 hours a day and KPU supplies partner companies with human resources highly adaptable to the field preferentially. In addition, KPU organizes regular meetings of partner companies according to department or section respectively to support technological exchanges between industries of the same type.

Establishing common use of cutting edge equipment
Following the trend of rapid industrial technology development, it was established to support systematic research activities of partner companies. For this purpose, the center is clustered with the Center of High Precision Optics cluster setup and the Center for Assembly and Inspection System, Material Analysis Center, 3-Dimensional & Precision Measuring Lab which support partner companies to address any technical problems they are faced with.
